University Hospital & Clinics
Located in Lafayette, LA, University Hospital & Clinics is the location of a 116-bed hospital and is the primary center for Graduate Medical Education in the Acadiana region. Gynecology rotations are held at this facility during the PGY2-4 years of the program. Residents are involved with a large volume of GYN surgeries while on rotation here. A comprehensive GYN clinic experience is also available and includes preoperative assessment, urogynecology, colposcopy, and women's preventive care. In terms of access to education: simulation exercises are practiced here as well as access to the resident conferences via ZOOM platforn. Housing is provided by the department.
