Journal Club
Journal club occurs quarterly and is held at the home of a faculty member in the evening. Landmark articles in obstetrics or gynecology or clinically relevant new articles are chosen for review. Residents review study design and discuss questions regarding the assigned article. Residents are welcome and encouraged to make requests on studies they would like to review. A faculty member mentors the residents in critically evaluating the chosen article(s) including epidemiological principles, study design, and statistical analysis. They are also the moderator for the journal club session.
