What aspect of your job do you love the most? All of the variety-the scheduled surgeries, emergency surgeries, delivering babies, cesarean sections, clinic procedures, ultrasound. Every day is different from the next. And most of all, taking care of women!
What's your favorite TV show or movie? Favorite TV show: Grey's Anatomy. Favorite Romcom: 27 Dresses. Favorite Comedy: Stepbrothers
What are your hobbies? Wining and dining with my husband, walks with my favorite puppy, spending time with family/friends, playing soccer, listening to live music, LSU tailgating.
Do you have any children and/or pets? Yes, I have two perfect furbabies. A goldendoodle named Daisy Mae and a kitten named Lily Rose. (They are best FURiends).
Any other info you want to share? I could eat sushi every single day and be very happy. I have lived in 6 different states. If I could teleport anywhere right now, it would be Maui. Lastly, I have the best co-residents in the entire world!!! (Humble brag).

Dr. Rachel Gilbert is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and attended Louisiana State University for undergrad (Geaux Tigers!) and then William Carey College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school. She enjoys wining and dining with her husband, spending time with family/friends, playing soccer, listening to live music, LSU tailgating, and spending time with her perfect furbabies—a goldendoodle named Daisy Mae and a kitten named Lily Rose (who are best friends). Her favorite TV show is Grey's Anatomy, favorite rom-com is 27 Dresses, and favorite comedy is Stepbrothers. Dr. Gilbert enjoys the variety of care in her profession; between scheduled surgeries, emergency surgeries, delivering babies, cesarean sections, clinic procedures, and ultrasounds, every day is different from the next! She chose Ob/Gyn to give back to her community through supporting other women.
