Dr. Katie Oliver graduated Magna Cum Laude from FSU in Tallahassee with 3 minors - Chemistry, Dance and Psychology. While in medical school at the FSU Pensacola campus, Katie was part of a 4-year student-led para-curricular program designed to expand the capacity of FSU College of Medicine’s training resources to prepare students for mission based leadership roles by exposure to diverse leadership roles in medicine. Amongst many other teaching and mentoring roles, Katie spent much of her free time dedicated to the Health and Hope clinic during her clinical years, providing care to the underserved and uninsured community of the Panhandle in Florida.
With a strong commitment to health and fitness throughout medical school, she
maintained a vigorous fitness regimen and even started a pickleball group at her campus. Her commitment to fitness stems from her background as a dancer which instilled in her how to balance and prioritize fitness which she hopes to pass on to her future patients.Katie is a self-proclaimed Harry Potter nerd. Scuba diving and dancing are amongst a few of her favorite things to do.
