What aspect of your job do you love the most? I love being able to bring new life into the world and being able to work alongside some amazing people. I have truly made lifelong friends with my co-residents.
What's your favorite TV show or movie? Favorite Movie: Bridesmaids. Favorite TV show: Big Bang Theory and anything on Bravo
What are your hobbies? I love trying new restaurants, going out to eat with friends and family and traveling with my husband. One of my passions is musical theatre. I was very active in the theatre community growing up and in college. Now I enjoy attending the touring Broadway musicals that travel to the Saenger Theater in New Orleans.
Do you have any children and/or pets? I have a nine year old rescue dog named Zoey! No children currently.
Any other info you want to share? When we aren't working, the residents are always trying to hangout with each other whether going to a happy hour or game night at someone's house.
Bio
Dr. Maggie Joyner Cahill was born and raised in Zachary, Louisiana and went to Louisiana State University for college and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans for medical school. She loves trying new restaurants, going out to eat with friends and family, traveling with her husband and attending the touring Broadway musicals at the Saenger Theater in New Orleans. Her favorite TV shows are Big Bang Theory and anything on Bravo and her favorite movie is Bridesmaids. She has a nine year old rescue dog named Zoey. Dr. Cahill enjoys being able to bring new life into the world and being able to work alongside some amazing people—she has truly made lifelong friends with her co-residents!

“Dr. Neelima Sukhavasi grew up in Nederland, Texas. She studied public health and obtained a Masters in Public Health at Tulane University. She did her Ob/Gyn residency training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Sukhavasi enjoys being in the operating room and delivering cute little babies! ”
