About

Hometown: Murrells Inlet, SC

College: Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC

Med School: American University of the Caribbean

What aspect of your job do you love the most?  Crash cesareans never get old or boring; there is no rush like the one I get after successfully getting a healthy baby delivered quickly.

What's your favorite TV show or movie? I'll admit; I love trashy reality tv. Lately, I have found myself really addicted to all of the new Netflix dating reality shows.

What are your hobbies? Before med school, I did a ton of outdoor stuff. I grew up boating and fishing with my dad and still love the water. When I have the time, traveling is one of my favorite things to do... I celebrated finishing med school with a bucket list trip to Thailand. I also love shopping and fashion, and dining out enjoying good food and drinks.

Do you have any children and/or pets? Two adorable sister kitty cats, Diamond and Pearl.

Any other info you want to share? I have been lucky enough to find lifelong friendships in residency.  My favorite perk of my job at Woman's is the food- having good food and unlimited diet coke access makes call shifts and long clinic days a lot less stressful! I After residency, I would like to practice the full scope of general obstetrics and gyn, and can't wait to perform my own surgeries like robotic hysterectomies after graduation.
