Interventional Radiology Residency Program

The Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center New Orleans Diagnostic and Integrated Radiology Residency program received ACGME accreditation in 2016 and began accepting internal transfers and new applications for the following year.

Miller, Ricky

 Ricky Miller, MD

Dr. Miller served as the Interventional Radiology Chief Resident and accepted a job in private practice prior to graduating in 2020.   We are especially grateful for Dr. Miller's contributions to the LSU IR/DR Residency as a leader, colleague and outstanding physician!

Everardo Flores, MD

Dr. Flores was a valuable IR team member. He became a great leader and teacher during his tenure with our program.  He has accepted a job in private practice prior to graduating in 2023. We are extremely proud of Dr. Flores and look forward to following his bright future in Interventional Radiology.

Dan Laney, MD

Dr. Laney served as the Interventional Radiology Chief Resident from 2020 - 2022. During his time at LSU he has grown to become a great IR professional and has enjoyed his time with us so much, that he has accepted a faculty position with our IR Section. Welcome Aboard!
