Bio

Dr. Tracy A. Dewenter received her medical doctorate from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – Shreveport in 2003. She completed residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology from LSUHSC – School of Medicine at New Orleans in 2007. After a short period of additional training in Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, she joined the faculty at LSUHSC in November 2007.  She is recipient of the Ronald Welsh Endowed Professorship in Pathology and currently serves as Director of Surgical Pathology at University Medical Center New Orleans.
