Bio
Jessica LaCombe is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at LSU Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC). She received her B.S. degree in biology from Louisiana State University and her M.D. from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, Netherland Antilles. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Louisiana State University School of Medicine- Baton Rouge and then joined the faculty as an academic Hospitalist. Her academic responsibilities include resident and medical student education as an attending on inpatient wards services, serving as a faculty advisor, and participating in the resident didactic series including the Morbidity and Mortality Conference presentations. Her professional interests include graduate and undergraduate medical education as well as hospital quality improvement. She completed the scholar program for the Institute of Healthcare Improvement and is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
