Bio

Jolene Johnson is an Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at LSU Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC).  She earned a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Stanford University, and an M.D. from George Washington University.  Dr. Johnson completed an Internal Medicine residency and an Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism fellowship at the University of Colorado in Denver.  Dr. Johnson supervises the LSU Health Endocrinology clinic at Our Lady of the Lake.  Her professional interests include the prevention and treatment of type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and physician performance in the care of patients with diabetes.  Dr. Johnson is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
