Bio

Matt Foy is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at the LSU Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) in Baton Rouge.  He earned his M.D. from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans.  Dr. Foy completed his Internal Medicine training at LSUHSC in Baton Rouge.  Following his chief residency, Dr. Foy completed a nephrology fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.  Dr. Foy has been recognized by the Aesculapian Society as an outstanding educator for the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans.  His interests include medical education, education research, and HIV related renal disease.  Dr. Foy is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
