Bio
Roy Culotta is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at LSU Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC). He received his B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of New Orleans, and his M.D. from LSUHSC in New Orleans. Dr. Culotta completed his Internal Medicine residency at Vanderbilt University and a Pulmonary & Critical Care fellowship at LSUHSC in New Orleans. Since completing his fellowship in 2004, he has been involved in medical education while maintaining an active private practice. Dr. Culotta’s academic responsibilities include supervising LSU Pulmonary & Critical Care services at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center and Baton Rouge General Hospital. He enjoys teaching critical care medicine to medical students and residents, as well as directing the care of critically ill patients. His special interest focuses on minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in thoracic oncology.
