The Ignite for Behavioral Health conference is hosted by the LSU School of Medicine Psychiatry residency program, Genesis, and The Maples with the goal of providing quality training for our local mental health providers, but also to raise funds to support the residency program.

We are expanding the program this year to offer an optional premeeting 3 hour presentation on Ethics and the main meeting will offer 10.5 hours.

This program is approved for 13.5  hours of clinical, 3 hours of Ethics, and 3 hours of general continuing education contact hours by NASW-LA as authorized by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners. (note: each individual can only accumulate 13.5 hours total)

The Louisiana Counseling Association is approved by the Louisiana Licensed Professional Board of Examiners to offer continuing education clock hours.  This presentation has been reviewed and has been approved for 13.5 CE clock hours (10.5 hours of Diagnosis and 3 hours of Ethics).

The conference will be held at The C. B. Pennington, Jr. Conference Center, located at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center, 6400 Perkins Road, Baton Rouge, LA 70808.
