What would you be doing if you weren't doing Family Medicine? Professional artist.

Five-year plan? I'm still deciding on clinic vs. inpatient medicine afterwards. Possibly a combination, or maybe even faculty at a residency program.

What do you like to do for fun? Sporting events (GO RAVENS! GO HEAT! GO Os!). I love love love all things basketball and football. I also enjoy attending concerts and broadway shows. I enjoy traveling, whether solo or with family and friends. I have fun sleeping too.

Five-year plan? OB fellowship to further develop my surgical skills, then an all-inclusive family practice. I would also like to share my skills by teaming up with organizations that specialize in caring for underserved populations.

Why Bogalusa? After living in New Orleans for the last five years, I knew I wanted to stay in Southern Louisiana. I've always dreamed of providing comprehensive, full-spectrum care for my community and the training at Bogalusa is unlike any other place I interviewed. The program is supportive and collaborative... and I feel like I can still have a life outside of residency.
What do you like to do for fun? Anything outside - I love spending time in the garden, riding my bike, reading a book in the park or just hanging out with friends by a body of water.
