WELCOME:

We appreciate your interest in the Vascular Surgery Integrated Residency at LSU Health Science Center.

Our integrated program began in 2012 and currently accepts two residents each year. Our graduates are highly sought after for their technnical prowess and have accepted jobs in a combination of academic and private practice settings. The LSU residency offers a wide variety of both open and endovascular cases in several clinical settings. Trainees rotate through our University Medical Center (a level 1 tertiary care center), the Southeast Louisiana VA, Childrens Hospital, and two large private hospitals. Given our location in southeast Lousiana, our trainees experience a large variety of vascular pathology and have graduated in the top 10th percentile per case volume in all categories.
