- Dermatology clinic at each site 4 days a week
- Comprehensive supervision of all resident activities with the right mix of autonomy as the resident progresses toward graduation and independent practice.
- In patient consultation services at all sites. Dermatology does not have inpatient services.
- Moh's surgery at Ochsner Foundation Hospital and Southeast Veterans' Health Care System
- Laser clinic at Our Lady of the Lake and Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System
- Cosmetic Clinic at University Medical Center and Our Lady of the Lake Hospital
- Pediatric Dermatology instruction by a fellowship trained pediatric dermatologist at Children's Hospital of New Orleans
- Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma Clinic and state of the art Burn Unit at University Medical Center New Orleans
- Weekly didactics where both residents and faculty give interactive lectures in clinical dermatology, surgical dermatology, dermatopathology, laser and cosmetic dermatology.
- Grand rounds including cases from all participating hospitals twice yearly
