Didactic Curriculum
Lectures
- Thursday is a dedicated didactic day for us.
- We typically have a mix of resident-led Bolognia and Wolverton lectures & kodachrome lectures twice monthly by Dr. Culotta.
- We typically will get guest lecturers throughout the year speaking on anything from Dermoscopy to Adulting and Finances , HS, Melanoma, Cosmeceuticals , Contract negotiation, etc.
- We also will do hands on suture practice periodically as well, or we will play jeopardy
or kahoot games to reinforce topics.
Grand Rounds
- We will have Grand Rounds periodically throughout the year with guest lecturers.
Consult Review
- Each month we have a Consult Review in which residents submit interesting inpatient
consults from our various sites for review.
Dermatopathology
- Twice monthly on Thursday afternoons, we sit with Dr. Martin at the scope and review slides.
- We also have guest dermpath lectures 3-4 times per month either on Tuesday or Friday afternoons. These are given by outside dermatopathologists who will either zoom in or come in person to lecture. These are a combination of "PathPresenter" online or at the scope.
