What advice would you give incoming residents?
Just be yourself and let your uniqueness and personality shine!

What originally attracted you to the LSU Child Neurology program?
I wanted to experience a place that was different than what I had experienced thus far in my life, and LSU peaked my interest with its smaller program, large population served, and kind-hearted-mental-health-compassionate program.

What is your favorite thing to do in New Orleans?
I honestly love walking around and experiencing the rich cultural history; then accidentally finding myself in a restaurant.

What advice would you give incoming residents?
Ask all the questions! It's a great way to learn about LSU, New Orleans, and clinical medicine.

What originally attracted you to the LSU Child Neurology program?
I liked the smaller program size relative to the breadth of pathology we see and quickly loved how open and welcoming everyone was.

What is your favorite thing to do in New Orleans?
Eat and go to the art museums and exhibits! I had no idea how much I loved oysters until moving here.

What advice would you give incoming residents?
Take a moment to appreciate the stage in the journey you are currently in! Time flies, especially when we always have a next stage in medicine to aim for. Just remember to stop and "smell the roses" every now and then.

What originally attracted you to the LSU Child Neurology program?
I did a rotation here and felt very comfortable with the faculty and residents in this program. I wanted to be in a program where we got along well and I felt supported to learn, which is exactly what I felt here. I'm also happy to be in New Orleans.

What is your favorite thing to do in New Orleans?
I enjoy trying new places to eat around the city by picking new date night spots with my husband.
