Dr. Walker is a native of Baton Rouge, LA and graduate of the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine - UPIKE. Dr. Walker completed his internship and residency here at University Hospital and Clinics and has decided to stay on as a full-time faculty member. Dr. Walker's special interests include critical care, inpatient medicine and cirrhotic liver disease. Dr. Walker will be joining us as full-time teaching faculty, he will also have a faculty practice of his own primary care patients and as well as starting a cirrhotic liver disease clinic in the Division of Gastroenterology with the help of Dr. Bienvenu.
