"What drew me to this program and what continues to stand out is the balance of strong clinical training and a truly supportive environment. The attendings are approachable and committed to teaching, and the diversity of pathology keeps us constantly learning new things. We have the kind of autonomy that pushes you to think independently while still knowing help is there when you need it. Being part of a close-knit group of residents makes the day-to-day more enjoyable, and I’ve especially valued the opportunity to mentor and teach our interns. Watching them gain confidence and find their footing has been one of the rewarding parts of residency. As an incoming chief resident, I've had the opportunity to reflect on how much I've grown during my time here and look forward to a fun, productive, and meaningful academic year."
