General Surgery Applicants

Applications for residency positions will only be accepted through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service). The application timeline for the 2026 match can be found here.

Complete applications through ERAS should include:

• Completed ERAS application form
• 3-4 letters of recommendation
  • Letters from surgeons strongly preferred and a Program Director or Chairman letter is recommended.
• Completed USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 
• ERAS program signal strongly recommended but not mandatory

Interviews are by invitation only and are conducted in November, December and January each year.
