Chuks Agusiegbe Jr

 

OFF-SITE SCHEDULING, SOCIAL EM

Chuks Agusiegbe Jr

Chuks, originally from Jackson, MS, earned his undergraduate degree from Jackson State University and completed medical school at Morehouse School of Medicine. This year, Chuks serves as the Off-Service Scheduler, Social EM, and DEI Chief. His medical interests include sports medicine, ultrasound, and social emergency medicine.

An avid sports fan, Chuks enjoys cheering for the New Orleans Saints and the Houston Rockets. Outside of sports, he loves traveling, working out, exploring the city, and participating in the many festivals that make New Orleans a special place to live.


Alexander Heinz

Alexander Heinz

Alex is originally from northern Illinois, but has lived in NOLA for the past 14 years where he went to undergrad and medical school at Tulane. His chief duties include: Conference, Curriculum, Annual Scheduling, and This Charity Life. His interests include Medical Education, as well as Community/Rural Emergency Medicine. When not at work, Alex can be found participating in local run groups, catching redfish in his kayak, or hanging out with his dogs in City Park.


Archit Shukla

 

RESEARCH & ACADEMICS, DISCIPLINE

Archit Shukla

Archit was born and raised in New Orleans. He graduated from LSU Medical School and is the Research, Academics, and Discipline chief. Archit’s medical interests include critical care medicine, resuscitation medicine, community emergency medicine, and quality improvement. Aside from medicine, Archit’s interests include playing basketball, taking walks with his dog, trying new restaurants/pop-ups around the city, eating as much crawfish as humanly possible, and rooting for the local sports teams. Laissez les bon temps rouler!


Aaron Singer

 

MEDICAL STUDENT EDUCATION, RECRUITMENT, WELLNESS

Aaron Singer

Aaron Singer was born in San Diego and raised in Las Vegas, NV.  He graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Medicine. He is currently Medical Student Education, Recruitment, and Wellness chief resident. His medical interests include critical care, ultrasound and medical education. When not working, Singer enjoys spending time with his family and one-year-old son, weight-lifting, hiking with his corgi, Kylo, and attending music festivals.


Allen Turechek

 

SCHEDULING

Allen Turechek

Allen is from Connecticut and graduated from The Uniformed Services University. He is the scheduling chief and has interests in pre-hospital, tactical and austere medicine. Outside of medicine, Allen enjoys spending time with his family, interesting cocktails, exploring New Orleans and reading.
