Bio
Dr. Andrea Usher was born in Belize, Central America and later moved to New Orleans, Louisiana where she attended the University of New Orleans for college and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in New Orleans for medical school. She obtained her Ob/Gyn training at Louisiana State University Ob/Gyn Residency Program in New Orleans. She moved to Baton Rouge after Katrina and is one of the founding faculty of our residency program. She also holds a law degree from Loyola University in New Orleans. She enjoys reading and watching anything from the Star Wars Universe. Her favorite movie is the Shawshank Redemption. Her dog Buffy is the love of her life. Dr. Usher's most rewarding part of her job is caring for indigent patients.
