Tina Benoit-Clark, M.D., FACP

LSUHSC-University Hospitals and Clinics
I am originally from Rayne, LA, and graduated from of UL Lafayette. After attending medical school at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, I completed a residency in Internal Medicine at University Medical Center, now University Hospital & Clinics, in Lafayette, LA, and have been an academic faculty member since completing my training.
Currently I am the Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Program at UHC. Over the years I have been the clinical lead physician for the Renal Beginnings Clinic at UHC. I am now the Outpatient Clinics Medical Director and the Medical Student Site Director at UHC. I take pleasure in teaching students and residents who challenge me with their enthusiasm and inquisitiveness.
Medicine is changing and with my recent MBA degree, I am prepared to share what I have learned about the business aspect of medicine to residents, students, and colleagues.
I am married to Roderick Clark, a local nephrologist. We have three children, with two of them pursuing medical careers. My youngest son is studying mechanical engineering and plays collegiate soccer. All of my kids have been involved in soccer for many years and we enjoy traveling throughout the country supporting their teams.
