Students

Medical students are encouraged to rotate with our service especially if you are interested in applying to our program.
Medical students must be currently enrolled in an accredited U.S. Medical School and are required to complete the Visiting Student's Application for an Elective form obtained from:

Specify course # OBGYN 419 on all communications with this office.  This process ensures that medical students will have adequate malpractice coverage while rotating with our service.
A member of the Ob/Gyn faculty or resident will always supervise medical students.  The degree of responsibility for patient care varies depending on several factors.
Medical students will be evaluated using their own medical school criteria and evaluation form, or our standard resident evaluation form if none is provided by their medical school.
Medical students are expected to attend all Ob/Gyn lectures and conferences during their rotation, and actively participate in department activities and social events.
Housing will be provided while the student is with our service.
